Lupita Nyong’o sported a new look and fans are loving it.

The actress recently showed off her new shaved head on Instagram telling her followers that she is happy with her new look.

Referring to the female soldiers who serve as special forces for Wakanda in the Black Panther movie, Nyong’o joked that her “Application for the Dora Milaje submitted!”

Fans loved the actress’s new freshly shaved head and commented to compliment her, with one writing,

“Stunning! Face Card never declines!!!”
“Behold our Queen”

Another supported the 40-year-old actress, writing,

“With eyes and bones like yours of course.”

A third fan added,

On April 16, the Us actress shared a TikTok video where she gives fans a glimpse of her shorter hair before shaving it down to sport a bald look.

She wrote in the captions, “I cut off my hair!”

While appearing in the 2018 cover story for Porter magazine, Nyong’o gushed about her natural hair, saying,

“My hair is something that, historically, has been shunned. I mean, how often do you hear ‘You can’t get a job with hair like that’?”

Lupita defended her hair in the past too

The Oscar winner has also defended the beauty of natural hair.

Her hairstyle at the 2016 Met Gala was mocked for its natural texture. At the time, she took to Instagram to share the historical inspiration behind her iconic hairdo.

In November 2017, the actress publicly called out a fashion magazine for editing her hair. Along with the shoot’s original pictures, Nyong’o wrote in the captions,
