Splitsville! Marisol Nichols files for divorce

TMZ has reported that Marisol Nichols, 49 has put in her legal papers for separating from her husband of 10 years, Taron Lexton, 38. The documents were put in court this 7 November.

Taron is a director and cinematographer and is often out of town for his film shoots. This split seemed to be coming for a while since Marisol’s previous interviews did have some element of sad feelings in them.

In May 2017, Marisol talked about her family life. She had said:

“It’s always been me and my daughter,”

Marisol has co-founded a Foundation for a Slavery Free World. While talking on that subject, she again mentioned her daughter’s name and said that she wants to do it in order to protect her daughter.

In October 2017, Marisol talked about her personal struggles with Latina. She had said:

“I guess [I can relate to Hermione] only in the sense that she’s had to overcome particular hardships and family — her daughter being the most important to her, even though some of her decisions don’t always make sense, I’ve always felt that everything that drives her is to protect her daughter.”

Hermione is the name of her character which she plays in the CW series Riverdale. Marisol’s life revolves around her daughter and she uploads pictures of her on her social media often.

Most of these pictures are sans her husband Taron since he is most of the time on locations for the filming of his movies. The long distances probably have taken their toll on the relationship between Marisol and Taron.

Marisol had uploaded a picture of her on-screen daughter Veronica Lodge played by Camila Mendes who can be seen embracing Marisol’s real daughter Rain. Again in October was a picture of Rain in which she had posed for the photo and could be seen making a heart sign with her hands.

There were also some beautiful fun pictures posted by Marisol on her social media with her on-screen husband named Hiram Lodge who is played by actor Mark Consuelos.

Marisol had uploaded a posh selfie of the couple and captioned it:

“@instasuelos looking like a GQ ad,”

Marisol seems to be more close to the cast of her TV show Riverdale and her daughter compared to her husband Taron. The rift is clear and obvious.
