Matt Dawson and wife Caroline-The divorce
The former England rugby player, Matt Dawson announced on his Twitter handle that he and his wife Carolin have decided to separate.
We know this will be a surprise to most but after 11 years together Carolin and I have decided our relationship needs a new direction, bringing our marriage to an end. The love for our beautiful boys grows stronger day by day as does our friendship as co-parents.

“The love for our beautiful boys grows stronger day by day as does our friendship as co-parents.”
Asking for privacy and support, Matt further wrote:
“To our dear friends please continue to support us as positively as you can for the next stage of our lives. It’s vital that Alex and Sami understand that we will always be a united family.”
The relationship timeline of the couple
Matt is 47 years of age now. He grew up in Buckinghamshire. He was good at both cricket and football during his growing years. Matt began dating former model, Carolin Hauskeller in the year 2009. Carolin was born in Germany. After two years of dating, they wed in 2011.
The couple has two children. Both are sons and called Alex and Sami. They are still minors and hence probably the couple will apply for the joint custody of their kids. Matt has Lyme disease. He contracted it from the bite of a tick in a London Park in 2016. In 2017, he joined The Big Tick Project to raise awareness about the disease in the UK.
In 2016, one of his sons was 2 years of age and suffered from meningitis. Matt had talked about it and said that those days were like hell for the family. They went through a lot and luckily his son was saved. Matt and Carolin have seen the ups and downs in life together. But despite that, their marriage seems to have crumbled and they have filed for divorce now.Click here to read on the Divorce plan ready! Kim Kardashian has planned out her divorce with Kanye West!
