Meghan Markle is finally on Instagram

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has been away from social media for about four years, but she is now back.

She launched her new business venture called American Riviera on Instagram on Thursday, March 14.

Meghan created a new Instagram account under the username @americanrivieraoechard, which appeared to be her new lifestyle brand. The Instgaram handle’s bio reads,

“By Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. Established 2024.”

Similarly, the page included a link to the website. The former actress further released a 15-second retro-style blurry video on the Instagram story.

In addition, the account posted the brand’s gilded logo, with the word “Montecito.”

Montecito is the name of the upscale town where Meghan, Prince Harry, and their children live near Santa Barbara, which is referred to as the “American Riviera”.

Furthermore, the account has garnered over 5,000 followers so far.

American Riviera Orchard is speculated to be a new lifestyle brand that reportedly specializes in home, garden, culinary, and general lifestyle content.

The brand intends to venture into cookbooks, home products like decanters and kitchen linens, as well as consumables like marmalade and jellies, according to the US trademark application.

The source said,

“She’s been working on this for over a year and it’s all the things that are close to her heart — all the things she’s passionate about.”

How many business ventures does Meghan Markle have?

This lifestyle brand is not Markle’s first. Before becoming engaged to Prince Harry in 2017, she had a lifestyle blog called The Tig.

On the blog, she conducted celebrity interviews where she discussed their fashion, upbringing, acting career, and so on. However, She shut down the site in 2017.

Similarly, Harry and Markle have established several businesses since quitting the royal family.
