Mel B is rushed to the hospital

This Friday on 17 May 2019, Mel B suddenly had a loss of vision in her right eye. She rushed to London’s Moorfields Eye Hospital. Mel B arrived there wearing a patch on her eye. She told the staff there that she is totally blind. She said that she could not see anything. Mel B already has diminished vision in her left eye following a laser surgery-gone-wrong 2 decades back. This has happened even before the Spice Girls Reunion tour.

“Mel was in a really bad way. The other girls and their managers were really worried.”
“Mel was frantic and screaming that she couldn’t see a thing. She went to the hospital in a chauffeur-driven car with an assistant, who was holding her hand.”
“No one knew what brought it on but she had very swift, and very good treatment.”

The doctors are not sure whether it has any links to her past surgery or is it a new problem.

After Mel B arrived at Moorfields Eye Hospital, after her preliminary investigation and treatment, the doctors later shifted her to Luton and Dunstable Hospital’s ophthalmology department for further management and followup. Once she could see, she left the hospital.

Mel B rejoins her rehearsal practice

Mel B is looking forward to the Reunion tour and did not want to miss it. After she was able to see and assured, she went back to her practice for the tour. A spokesperson for her said:

“The situation with Mel is under control. She is looking forward to the tour.”

The Spice World Tour will commence on 24 May in Dublin. There would be shows in Cardiff, Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Bristol and London. All the girls would be there except Victoria Beckham who has decided to stay off the tour. She said that she is busy with her fashion Empire and family. The Spice Girls band was in operation from 1994 to 2000. They had sold over 85 million copies of their records. They scored nine no. 1 singles which included Wannabe and 2 become 1.

This is not the first time that the Spice Girls Reunion tour has been in a jeopardy.
