Michelle Young is engaged to Nayte Olukoya! They got engaged on the season finale of The Bachelorette and are happier than ever.

On the 21st December 2021 episode of the show, Olukoya proposed to her during the Season 18 finale. Young chose Olukoya at the end of the show after he confirmed to her that he was ready to get engaged to her.

Michelle said,

“I fall more in love every day. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family with a healthy marriage and I thought, I’m not going to give up until I have that. He’s my person. And I didn’t know I could love at this level.”

Nayte revealed that he had never felt the way he felt for Young. He has never loved anyone like that before. Talking about the actual proposal, Olukoya said,

“I had a conversation with Michelle and I was like, I want you to know I’m scared.’ But at the end of the day, I’ve never been so aligned with how I feel about somebody. When I closed my eyes and thought about the future, I saw her next to me. So I was very confident and comfortable to get down on one knee. And I’m so glad she said yes!”

Her parents are happy with Young choosing Nayte. Likewise, he was moving from Austin to Minnesota to be near Michelle all the time. To know how their relationship is going to go, fans will have to stay tuned.
