Nash Grier and his career

Nash was born on 28 December 1997 in North Carolina at Greensboro. His mother is Elizabeth Floyd, while his father is Chad Grier. Chad manages his son’s business. His older brother, Will plays for the Carolina Panthers. His younger brother, Hayes is an Internet personality like Nash. The brothers have a half-sister, Skylynn who also used to feature in the Vine videos.

When Vine came, Nash downloaded the app and started posting six-second videos. And his videos went viral and gave him immense followers. Skylynn also had 1.2 million followers on her Instagram. This was amazing.

Time Magazine in 2014 included Nash’s name in the top 25 influential teens. Nash was still studying at Davidson Day School when renown came his way. These three siblings gained fame that was more than that of Will. Will says:

Nash was also part of the Magcon (Meet and Greet Convention) group. But this group soon broke up. Nash shifted his base to Los Angeles and also appeared in some films and music videos.

Is Nash married?

Since 2015, Nash has been in a romantic relationship with Taylor Giavasis. They had an engagement on 26 March 2019. Nash had announced this happy news on his Instagram. He uploaded a pic of his fiance showing off her engagement ring to the camera. The hand held out was also covering her face. And there was a flowery backdrop in the photo. Nash simply captioned the post:

“She said yes 😭.”

In September 2019, Nash and Taylor had a son called Malakai Giavasis-Grier. In December 2021 came the announcement of Taylor’s second pregnancy. In July 2022, Nash and Taylor announced that they had their second baby, a daughter named Noa Giavasis-Grier. The two are happy together and regularly post photos of the happy four on their social media.

Taylor’s estranged father

Though Taylor is now completely in a happy space of her life, her childhood days were tumultuous. When she was born, her parents, Nikki Giavasis and Bobby Lee Cutts Jr. were together. Bobby worked as an officer in the Canton Police Department. But soon after, they split. And her father began another relationship.

But Taylor’s father allegedly murdered his girlfriend and their unborn child. At that time, Taylor was just nine years old. The court documents reveal that on 14 June 2007, Bobby had killed his girlfriend, Jessie Marie Davis, 26 who was pregnant. The murder took place at her Lake Township home in Stark County, Ohio. The couple had a son (Blake) together who was two at that time.

Taylor was missing and 9 days later her body was recovered from the nearby woods. The court convicted him and sentenced him to life imprisonment for the crime. Bobby states that he did not mean to kill his girlfriend and it was accidental. He said that after a disagreement, and later both went physical. His elbow hit her and she fell to the ground. Bobby adds:

“She hit the ground, harder than I expected. When I heard her fall, I turned around. I tried to do CPR. I checked for a pulse in her neck, but she wasn’t responding she was dead. I can’t believe any of this is happening. I never tried to hurt anyone,”

Bobby had primary custody of Taylor. But he verbally and physically abused her. And later at nine years of age, she testified before the court about the domestic violence and was granted relief from him. But Taylor has severed all ties with her biological father and has told the world that she does not have a father.

Bobby is now in Marion Correctional Institution, Ohio. During the trial, he married another woman and had a child with her. Later, the two divorced in June 2007.
