Nelly appears to be doing well with his girlfriend Ashanti. The rapper, 48, paid a sweet birthday tribute to his girlfriend via Instagram on Friday, October 13.

Ashanti recently marked her 43rd birthday.

The hitmaker shared an Instagram carousel that featured throwback pictures and clips of himself with Ashanti throughout the years.

Similarly, he added Chris Lane‘s 2022 track “Birthday Girl,” in the background. In the caption section, he wrote,

Ashanti also commented underneath his post, writing,

This is the first Instagram post that the Country singer shared after they rekindled their romance.

The couple had dated on and off for almost a decade until they announced their break up in 2013.

When did Nelly and Ashanti get back together?

In April, the two sparked reconciliation rumors after they were photographed together holding hands at a Las Vegas boxing match.

They were since spotted together several times at events over the next few months. Similarly, they performed their 2008 track “Body on Me” together at one of Ashanti’s Las Vegas shows.

Last month, Nelly opened up about his relationship with Ashanti during his appearance on the Philo show Boss Moves with Rasheeda where he confirmed they were back together.
