Shawn Johnson and her husband Andrew East will soon be welcoming baby N0. 3.

The gymnast shared the exciting news on her Instagram on Wednesday to announce the great news with a series of photos that showed her posing and sitting on the steps of the Olympic stadium in Greece.

The expectant star captioned her post, “Swipe for a surprise,” where the athlete showed her growing baby bump in the second snap.

For the photos, the Olympic star opted for a black singlet and white sneakers as she lovingly cradled her baby bump.

Johnson and East, both 31, are already parents to son Jett James, 2, and daughter Drew Hazel, 3.

Fans congratulated the star in the comment section with one writing,

”Lovely news! Congratulations and best wishes!”

The NFL player also announced the news on his Instagram on Wednesday.

He shared a montage of the times his wife told him she was pregnant. He simply captioned it, “here we go again,’‘

The video contained scenes from 2017, 2019, and 2020 as well as this year.

In 2017, Johnson, who was pregnant with their first child, suffered a miscarriage.

In a post shared on October 2022, she wrote,

“October 19th… always hits a little hard for me in such a bittersweet way,”

Johnson documented her miscarriage on YouTube

She also shared a video on her YouTube channel with the name “pregnancy + heartbreak,” where she said,

“We feel like a lot of people go through this so we wanted to share it,”

The video documented the moment the former athlete discovered her pregnancy when she later surprised her husband. In the continuation, the couple goes to the doctor after she suffers stomach pains.

She said,

“It sounds like it can either be something normal or that we lost the baby,”

The doctor then informs them that they lost the baby naturally.

Then in 2019, the Olympian shared an emotional video of her experience before and after welcoming her rainbow baby Jett.

The eight-minute long clip which she posted on their family YouTube channel contained the caption praising their son.

The video’s caption read,

“We are so in love. Momma and little man are doing really well and are healthy and happy,”
