Osman Bukari is a Ghanaian soccer player. He is an active player who plays for the Serbian club Red Star Belgrade and the Ghana national team as a winger.

Being a lively player in the 2022 FIFA World Cup he scored a brace against, Portugal, in the 89th minute of the game. It was held at Stadium 974 in Doha, Qatar on November 24, 2022.

After his first-ever goal at the World Cup, he did Cristiano Ronaldo‘s famous ‘Siu’ pose, which earned him much criticism. In the end, Portugal beat Ghana by 3-2.

Osman started his first European career by playing for the Slovakian side, AS Trenčín. In July 2018, he joined them and played 66 matches with 16 goals and 25 assists during his two years in Slovakian.

On 4 September 2020, he was signed by Slovakia, Belgian side, KAA Gent. During these three years of contract with Gent, he was able to establish himself as one of the first-team regulars. Bukari was one of the best players on his team, playing 35 matches and recording 4 goals and 6 assists.

Then, he was signed by French Ligue 1 Outfit, FC Nantes on 12 August 2021 on a season-long loan. He was also part of the team, which won Coupe de France, the fourth in the history of the club by taking a team to the European qualification.

On June 2022, he signed a deal with champions Red Star Belgrade with a deal worth, €3 million. During his debut game against FK Radnički Niš, and was named to the scoresheet in the same match.

Shortly after, Osman Bukari earned the title of man of the match with three goals in an assist throughout the qualifying match against Pyunik in the UEFA Champions League.

International Career

On 25 March 2021 Bukari made his International debut of r Ghana during the Arica Cup of Nations qualifying match against South Africa.

Then, he played in the AFCON qualifier, and in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, he scored his first goal in the 90th minute of the game against Portugal. Unfortunately, Portugal beat Ghan by 3-2.

On 28 November 2022, Ghana again took South Korea to victory by a 3-2 win held at Education City Stadium Qatar.

Mohammed Salisu scored the first goal in 24 minutes of the game, while Mohammed Kudus scored two goals in the 34th and 69th minutes of the game.
