Patrick J. Adams apologized for posting photos of Meghan Markle on the set of Suits amid the SAG-AFTRA Writer’s Strike.
Adams had posted several throwback photos behind the scenes of Suits, including some racy snaps of Markle.
He thanked those who called him out amid the SAF-AFTRA Writer’s Strike.

Suits actor Patrick J. Adams issued an apology note for sharing behind-the-scenes of his former co-star Meghan Markle on social media amid the SAG-AFTRA writer’s strike.

After receiving backlash, Adams wrote in a statement on his Instagram Story on Wednesday,

”The last couple of days I foolishly and thoughtlessly let a trip down Suits memory lane distract me from the very real and ongoing fight everyone in @sagafstra continues to wage in its effort to win out membership realistic 21st Century compensation and protections,”

The former USA Network, 42, admitted that posting the photos amid the standoff was “an embarrassing oversight” and that he is “incredibly sorry.”

He concluded,

”So grateful to those who gently and swiftly course corrected me here and I look forward to continuing the fight in the days and weeks ahead,”

Just this week, Patrick remembered his good times on the popular TV series which successfully ran from 2011 to 2019. The now-deleted photos showed snaps of Markle posing sensually in character as paralegal Rachel Zane.

One snap showed Markle lying upside down wearing a white blouse and brown pencil skirt with her barefoot up in the air as she posed beside her co-star Sarah Rafferty.

Another photo showed Meghan’s black-and-white portrait.

Patrick J. Adams’ past controversial acts

The show hit popularity after hitting Netflix in June. The Canadian Adams played Markle’s on-screen love interest, a college dropout-turned-unlicensed lawyer, Mike Ross.

Adams has remained very close friends with Markle after the show ended and even attended her royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

Last year, Adam sparked controversy by revealing that the actress once poked fun at his nude body after seeing him naked in a play.

This is not the first time the actor faced backlash for his acts. In 2018, he was accused of bullying when he shared an unflattering photo of a woman asleep at the airport after they had a fight.

Just three years later, he called out the Royal Family after rumors of Meghan bullying aides made headlines.

Defending his friend, he tweeted, calling her “enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, [and] joyful.”

“She has always been a powerful woman with a deep sense of morality and a fierce work ethic and has never been afraid to speak up, be heard and defend herself and those she holds dear,”

He married Pretty Little Liars actress Troian Bellisario in December 2016.
