Meadow Walker, daughter of late actor Paul Walker announced that she and her husband Louis Thornton-Allan are separating just two years after marriage.

The Fast & Furious star’s daughter, 25, took to her social media to announce that the shocking split was a united decision.

On behalf of the pair, Walker wrote to her 4 million followers,

“After three [sic] wonderful years of marriage, we have come to the agreement to amicably separate,”
“This is truly a united decision and we sincerely hope everyone can respect our wishes for privacy. We maintain mutual love and respect for one another, and will continue to support each other.”

The couple said I DO on a beach in the Dominican Republic in October 2021.

Meadow’s godfather, Vin Diesel who was Paul’s best friend, walked her down the aisle.

Fans were sad by the news and wondered what happened to their marriage. One wrote,

Meadow was only 15 when her dad died in a car crash in November 2013. He was 40 years old.

The model who is the only child of the late actor opened up to Vogue about her wedding, blaming the pandemic for changing their wedding plans.

She told the outlet in 2021,

“The pandemic impacted our plans,”
“Louis’s family wasn’t able to attend. A lot of close friends whom we consider family were also unable to attend due to travel restrictions.”

Walker credited her aunt Paloma who helped her a lot to get the ball rolling on planning her nuptials.

Walker confirmed her engagement to the young actor via Instagram by sharing a video of her ring while going for a swim.

The video showed a grinning Meadow putting her hand on her face to show her new bling as her fiance clicked the video. She simply captioned it, “<3 <3 <3 <3,”

While it’s unclear how long they dated before tying the knot, they made their relationship Instagram official in July 2021.
