Congratulations to Sophia Grace and her boyfriend who are expecting a baby boy!

The 19-year-old who is famous for her childhood appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres Show announced the exciting news on her YouTube channel on Saturday.

In the video, the star said that she was going to do a reveal for her fans. She also informed me that her family members and closest friends already were aware of the baby’s sex.

The video showed a buttercream cake, a classic gender-reveal balloon filled with colored confetti. Plus there was a confetti cannon for kicks.

“To be honest, I’ve always wanted to do one of these,”

Grace, who is five months into her pregnancy then goes on to show a brief montage of slicing into the cake. She then pops the balloon and deploys the cannon and out of it comes blue icing, blue confetti, and more blue confetti.

Sophia gushed:

“So as you can see from the last few bits, I am having a boy!”
“When I first found out … I honestly wasn’t shocked because I just felt like from the start like I was going to be a boy-mom.”

Fans criticized Grace for being pregnant at a young age

So revealed that her family knew what the gender of her baby was.

The YouTuber added:

“all of my close family and friends already know what the gender is.”

Sophia also revealed that her boyfriend, whose identity is not yet revealed “was so happy about it because I feel like most men do want a boy as their first baby.”

The former child star also noted that the sex of the baby was a beautiful surprise for her family “we literally have so many girls in our family and we barely have any boys.” She also revealed that her dad was super happy to be a grandfather soon.

Grace first revealed the news of her pregnancy on October 22. While many fans were happy for her, there were some who criticized her choice to be a mom at such a young age.

During the announcement time, she said:

“I’m sure a lot of you are going to be very shocked because it probably was quite unexpected,”

Brownlee also admitted that while her mother was quick to accept the news, it became super hard for her to reveal the news to her daddy. She had to ask her mom to tell her father about her future child.
