Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Jennifer Spinner announced their engagement precisely a year after dating.
The RHOC star confirmed the news on Saturday.
Windham-Burke is still technically married to her estranged husband Sean Burke.

Braunwyn Windham-Burke announces engagement to Jennifer Spinner

Congratulations to Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her soon-to-be wife Jennifer Spinner!

The Real Housewives of Orange County confirmed to People on Saturday that she and her girlfriend of one year are engaged.

She told the outlet,

“I’ve never been happier,”
“Jen is my person. She said to me once, ‘How much do you love me?’ And I looked at her and said, ‘It’s not how much I love you. It’s how small I love you. I love you on a molecular level.’”

The former reality star continued,

“And that’s really it. My DNA was made for her. I’m thrilled to be able to say now, ‘This is my fiancée’ — just like I know, I’m going to one day be able to say, ‘This is my wife.’”

Braunwyn who is still technically Sean Burke‘s wife popped the question at 14th Park in New York City while the couple were recreating their first date throughout the Big Apple.

Windham officially filed for divorce from her ex-husband in October 2022 after 23 years of marriage. They share seven children together: together: Bella, 22, Rowan, 20, Jacob, 17, 9-year-old twins Caden and Curren, Koa, 7, and Hazel, 4.

She explained to People,

“Part of the reason I proposed now was because I now have an end date in my divorce; we’re about 80 days from it wrapping,”

The former Bravolebrity noted that the lovebirds exchanged promise rings and also celebrated their Vegas wedding together her divorce seemed to be taking too long for them. The two wanted to “set intentions in [their] relationship.”

Braunwyn explained that the couple did so to mean, “This is what we are promising to each other. This is our commitment to start a life together.”

She added,

“I proposed today knowing we can actually start planning a wedding. So it feels incredible.”

Why did Braunwyn file for divorce from Sean Burke?

In March, Braunwyn revealed in a sit-down interview with Page Six that she chose to divorce Sean after he allegedly emptied their joint bank account.

She said,

“It’s the reason I did file for divorce. When you’re still legally married, there’s not a lot to protect you,”

The reality star further claimed,

“So Sean had emptied out our joint bank accounts unbeknownst to me,”

“Literally, one day I woke up and I had no access to any of my cards or any money. And that was why I filed for divorce.”

After meeting Spinner, Windham realized that her life today is what she wanted for so long.

She admitted,

“I was always looking for something — whether it was drinking or partying or a TV show or fame — and I couldn’t find it. And obviously, it’s not one person who creates calm in you; it’s a bunch of things in your life coming together at the same time.”
“But I can honestly say, Jen started the ball rolling on that all. And I’m not grasping for anything anymore,”
“I’ve finally found it.”
