Congratulations to Talulah Riley and Thomas Brodie-Sangster who are engaged just two years after dating.

Elon Musk’s two-time ex-wife, 37, announced the exciting news on Twitter on Thursday alongside a photo of the couple snuggled up on a blanket.

She captioned the romantic snap,

“Very happy to share that after two years of dating, Thomas Brodie Sangster and I are engaged!”

Elon proved that there is no bad blood between the exes as the Tesla CEO showed his support to the couple and wished them congratulations in the comment section.

Riley was Musk’s wife from 2010 to 2012. After a brief separation, they remarried in 2013.

However, they ultimately decided to way separate ways for the second time just three years later.

Brodey also shared the engagement news on his own social media. The Love Actually star shared a photo of the couple on a romantic gondola ride.

Referencing a Hugh Grant quote from the hit 2003 rom-com, the 33-year-old actor wrote,

The Pride & Prejudice actress, 37, and Brodie first met in March 2021 while filming the FX series Pistol in which they play a romantic couple.

Fans started speculating that the two were more than just a couple but they didn’t confirm their romance until the following year at the British Academy Film Awards 2022 Gala Dinner.

When asked about their romance in a May 2022 interview with the Sunday Times, Talulah Riley that it was not love at first sight for them.

She told the outlet,

“We hadn’t really acknowledged each other as a romantic possibility or potential until the moment that we both did,”
“And it was the same moment a number of months after having worked together and been good friends.”

Riley’s views on marriage and children

Despite her tumultuous marriage history, Talulah Riley said that she still had hopes to marry a good man one day.

She said,

“I believe in marriage. I love marriage,”

Riley also added that having two or three children would be nice.

While Riley and Brodie have tried their best to keep their relationship out of the limelight, they often support one another at various public events.

While Riley seems to have happily moved on, it is not the same for her ex-spouse, Musk. He had his fair share of high-profile romances since their split.
