Ricard Foye and Andy Foye: Relationship Timeline
Ricard and Andy first met in the year 2015 while volunteering at a queer youth camp and instantly eloped on New Year’s Eve of the following year.
They later hosted a bigger wedding ceremony in May 2018. The same year Andy told Ricard to stop his hormone treatment as he was ready to try to have kids and carry them himself.
Blissfully, the pair welcomed their first child a daughter just over a year later. In June 2021, they were blessed with a son after a tragic pregnancy loss amid the pandemic.
Andy gushed about his desire to have children in a March 2022 interview with E! News,
“Prior to meeting Ricard, I had not really though about having kids and definitely not carrying kids. But once I met him, it was clear I did want to have a family with him.”
While the season 41 castaway added,
“My mind was so closed off to the idea of that. And then we met and I learned so much more about my queer community and so much more about what’s possible. He taught me, like, ‘Oh no, I can get pregnant.’ I was like, ‘What?’ So, keep your mind open to embracing whatever life hands you because I didn’t see any of this coming.”
