Joe Alwyn is keeping himself busy with his work after calling it quits with Taylor Swift.

A press release on Thursday confirmed that the 32-year-old actor recently accepted to play a part in the upcoming film The Brutalist.

The Brady Corbet-directed drama presents “thirty years of an artist’s life and his enduring creative journey” after he leaves Europe post-war and flees to America.

Other casts of the film include Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, and Guy Pearce. Filming of the highly-anticipated movie is already underway in Hungary.

Taylor, 33, on her part, is also busy with her sold-out Eras Tour. Her next stop is in Tampa, Fla., on Thursday.

But the newly single songstress is also trying to be happy as she took some time out for fun in NYC on Monday night.

Taylor was seen enjoying a meal at an Italian restaurant Via Carota in the Big Apple for the first time after her split.

Jack Antonoff and his fiancee Margaret Qualley joined her for the dinner.

On Friday, the multi-time Grammy winner’s fans were shocked when sources confirmed that Swift and Alwyn went separate ways after six years of dating.

They noted that their relationship ran its course and that nothing was dramatic.

The split also became more shocking to their admirers because they were rumored to have gotten secretly engaged and married.

However, sources denied that the Red singer and the British singer ever tied the knot.

For all these years, the couple remained very quiet about their relationship. Alwyn, however, addressed their engagement rumors in April 2022, saying,

“If I had a pound for every time I think I’ve been told I’ve been engaged, then I’d have a lot of pound coins,”
“I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn’t say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn’t say.”

The Favourite star also explained to WSJ about his decision to keep his relationship very private, saying,
