Sandra Bullock fulfilled her late partner Bryan Randall‘s wish!

The actress spread the ashes of Randall in Jackson Hole’s Snake River on Saturday, on what would have been his 58th birthday.

Bullock’s sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado shared a short Instagram video of the serene scene with the caption, “Happy birthday, Bry. Sandy brought you to the river, just as she promised,”

The clip showed snow-covered trees and bare foliage along the water, which shone in the rising sun.

Randall passed away in August 2023 after fighting amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), for three long years. It is a ”progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.”

No cure for ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease as it is known is found yet and unfortunately, there is no effective treatment to reverse its progression.

Internet users commented underneath the post with one writing,

How is Sandra coping with Bryan’s death?

The photographer, 59, dated the Hollywood star for eight years and also helped her raise her two kids. According to his family, he died peacefully.

Bryan’s family said at the time,

“Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private, and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request,”
“We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours,”

His loved ones further asked for “privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan.”

Though Bullock did not speak publicly about the death of the love of her life, a source revealed that the actress was grateful for the love and donations in his honor.

The insider said after Randall’s passing,

“It was very important to her that when she and his family made the initial statement of Bryan’s passing, those who were on this journey with her and Bryan, from the beginning, were recognized — with the Healey Center at Mass General leading the way,”

The source also noted that Sandra was “happy that out of something so heartbreaking came something so positive for others.”
