The actor was famous for his works in various movies including ‘Heat’, ‘Saving Private Ryan’, ‘Black Hawk Down’, and more.

Tom Sizemore is in critical condition after suffering a brain aneurysm

Famous actor Tom Sizemore has been hospitalized after suffering a brain aneurysm.

The actor, best known for playing the tough guys in several movies including Saving Private Ryan, Blackhawk Down, Heat, and Natural Born Killers, was found lying unconscious in Los Angeles at his home at around 2 am on 18 February 2023. His manager Charles Lago confirmed the news to Today magazine.

The paramedics found the actor unconscious and treated him before rushing him to the hospital in critical condition.

Doctors have confirmed that the actor suffered a brain aneurysm. Lago said:

“He is currently in critical condition and it’s a wait-and-see situation. His family is aware and waiting for updates. There was no other reason than the medical condition I describe above.”

Sizemore has battled drug addiction since he was 15

Tom Sizemore has struggled with drug addiction since he was young. In 2003, he was found guilty of committing domestic violence against his girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss, who was known as the “Hollywood Madam”.

The judge gave him a seven-month prison sentence and four months of drug treatment after he repeatedly failed drug tests during his probation in March.

While still on probation for a prior drug offense, Sizemore was arrested outside a hotel in Bakersfield, California, for possessing methamphetamine on May 8, 2007.

Robert De Niro seriously questioned Sizemore in a Numero interview, leading him to begin getting sober. De Niro then personally helped him check into a rehabilitation facility.

On January 5, 2019, in Burbank, California, police arrested Sizemore for having “various illegal narcotics” on him. This is a misdemeanor offense.
