Shay Shariatzadeh is a project manager at Sonatype. She is known for being the wife of professional wrestler John Cena. She has been working at Sonatype, an enterprise software company since December 2019.
Previously, Shay worked at Motorola Solutions where she researched thermal cameras and video intercom systems.
She said,
“I have always enjoyed math and physics. My brother studied engineering in school, and I remember one day he came home with a project and it was an autonomous car — and that was it!”
Likewise, Shariatzadeh has also worked as a sales executive for Guess and La Vie En Rose.

Shay Shariatzadeh was born in the year 1989 in Vancouver, Canada. She has a brother and Shay is inspired by her mother and her brother. Her mother works as a surgeon and has made a huge impact on her.
She said,
“The strongest and most hard-working woman I know is my mother. The biggest lesson she taught me was to be independent and fight for the things I want in life. While she was at the peak of her career, she gave it all up to move her family to Canada to give us a better future. She is the reason I fight to be the best version of myself, to be kind and to never give up.”
Shay attended the University of British Columbia in the year 2008. She graduated in the year 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She was a Sports and Charity Executive during her University days.
Shariatzadeh has a license from Lean Sensei International, Lean Six Sigma White Belt, Pragmatic Institute, and World Education Services.
Similarly, she started working a year before starting college. In the year 2007, she worked at La Vie En Rose is a third key sales executive.

Shay Shariatzadeh and John Cena walked down the aisle on 12th October 2020 in a private ceremony in Tampa, Florida. They were first linked together in March 2019.
They met each other on the set of his comedy film Playing with Fire. The filming took place in Vancouver and made a public appearance at the gala premiere of Playing with Fire.
John wore a navy blue suit with a white button-down and red tie while Shay accompanied him with a silver and black sequined dress. Cena said,
“It’s a wonderful day for a movie premiere and I got a beautiful date. What’s truly special about this one is that, no matter what projects I’m involved in the future, this one will always have a special meaning because I got to film a special project and meet someone special,”
The couple Shay and John have kept their love life lowkey and their marriage came as a surprise.
