Congratulations to Abby Elliot and her husband Bill Kennedy who welcomed their second child, a baby boy.

The Saturday Night Live alum announced the arrival of her newborn with an adorable snap on Monday. She wrote in the captions,

“William ‘Billy’ Joseph Lunney Kennedy IV. 6 lbs 7 oz June 9 2023 5:10pm,”
“hearts bursting we love you so much,”

The actress first announced her second pregnancy in January with her baby bump in a mirror selfie.

She wrote via Instagram at the time, “Baby Boy,’‘ with a blue heart emoji and added, “We can’t wait to meet you in June.”

Her fellow Bear cast members sweetly celebrated the good news in the comment section.

Jeremy Allen White wrote, “Congrats!!! ”

That same week, Elliot debuted her baby bump on the red carpet on Golden Globes red carpet where she rocked a sparkling orange gown by Pamela Roland.

The following month, the Odd Mom Out alum dressed up in a feathery pink outfit for the SAG Awards.

Abby said ahead of her comedy show in February,

“TFW you love your man AND your guild,”

Elliot and Kennedy are already parents to their 2-year-old daughter, Edith. The comedian gave birth to their baby daughter in October 2020.

Where did Abby and Bill meet?

Their firstborn arrived four years after the duo said I DO in Connecticut. They exchanged their wedding vows in front of 200 guests.

The newlyweds didn’t post anything from their special day on social media. However, Elliot’s close friend and c0-star Jill Kargman shared the blessings with the new bride and groom on Instagram.

Sharing a black-and-white shot of the newlyweds, Kargman wrote,

”Ode to joy! @lilcutieforever @thebillkennedy #weddedbliss,”

The couple first met on the set of Sex Ed in 2013. Two years later, Kennedy got down on one knee and popped the question.

Talking about the proposal, Abby said,

“We’ve been dating for a year-and-a-half, I think. It was a surprise,”
“He did it in our apartment and it was beautiful. There were flowers everywhere.”

Before marrying her now-husband, Elliot was in a relationship with her SNL co-star Fred Armisen from 2010 to 2011.
