The couple called it quit on their marriage after 13 years of marriage.

A source close to the couple confirmed to PEOPLE that they decide to split up in an amicable manner.

“Sophia and Grant were friends for 10 years bonded during COVID through their love of community service, They continue to run their nonprofit together and remain good friends.”

The actress, 41, filed the paperwork on Friday, August 4, according to various sources. Similarly, she has removed Grant’s last name from her Instagram bio and deleted all the IG posts related to him.

However, the couple has yet to comment on their breakup news.

A few days ago, the One Tree Hill actress shared a cryptic post on Instagram seemingly expressing her feeling via quote.

“Sometimes you have to remind yourself that you’re something special, That you can’t be replaced. Your heart, your mind, your conversation, your care, it can’t be replaced. By anyone.”

Similarly, she shared another separate post the following days, remarking,

The marriage between Sophia and Grant outlasted for just a year. Their divorce news comes as a shock to all as the couple recently marked their one-year wedding anniversary.

In June, Sophia Bush shared a since-deleted post on Instagram celebrating her wedding anniversary with her now estranged husband.

She shared a black and white throwback photo of the two while captioning,

“Today marks 365 days of calling you ‘husband,’ Best decision of my life. It still feels just like this. Ecstatic. Running toward the future, grinning and laughing, together. I love you, my favorite. Happy Anniversary.”

Well, the reason behind their divorce has yet to disclose.

In June 2022, Sophia Bush and Hughes legally married in an intimate ceremony at the City County Clerk’s Office in Tulsa, Oklahoma nearly a year after announcing their engagement.

Later, they hosted a grand wedding party at the Philbrook Museum of Art, which lies in an Italian Renaissance-style villa built in 1927.

In May 2020, the soon-to-be-divorced couple were rumored to be dating, and shortly after they announced their engagement by next August.
