But sadly, his personal life is in doldrums. Last year, on 25 August 2022, Steve Wallis had uploaded a video to talk about the sad demise of his wife, Jessica Audrey 5 days back.

He titled the post:

“Rest in peace my beautiful wife”

Narrating the death sequence, Steve first said that he and Jessica went to bed on Saturday night. But in Sunday morning, only he woke up. His wife did not get up since she passed away in her sleep. Steve did not mention the cause of this sudden death in the video. But he was completely shaken and had a trembling voice and eyes that were full of tears.

Steve had returned home from camping and had decided to stay with his wife for a week. But alas! That was not to be because she died. Steve added that she was the light of his life. There was nothing left in the world for him without her.

Steve requested his followers to make donations for his wife to nearby shelter homes or food banks.

Jessica was occasionally seen on her husband’s YouTube channel. She had appeared with him on his channel to celebrate the time that he garnered a million subscribers on his channel. But overall, she was a private person who shied away from the camera. Jessica worked as a teacher in a local public school.

The couple wed in 2017 and had celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary just before her death in 2022.

Grief-stricken subscribers of Steve expressed their sorrow in the comments section of his channel as well as on Twitter and Reddit. One Reddit user wrote:

There was outpouring of sorrow and condolences on the social media for Steve. Words could not explain the sorrow of his followers on the sad news.

When he started the channel, he used to post joke videos. One day when he posted a video of himself in an area with a temperature of minus 32 degrees Celsius, this video got a lot of views and likes. Later he decided to upload similar camping videos. All his videos are about non-traditional ways of camping.
