The lawsuit reads that the victim first met the musician at an Aerosmith concert in Portland, which was her hometown. After the concert, Tyler reportedly took her to his hotel room after the show ended.

Julia revealed that she spoke to the musician about the hardships she faced in her life before he “performed various acts of criminal sexual conduct upon” her.

The next morning, Tyler reportedly sent her home in a taxi.

The alleged sexual relationship started growing when the rockstar flew her to his concert in Seattle. Then he flew her back to her home the next day.

In 1974,  Tyler allegedly convinced his partner’s mother to allow him to become her legal guardian assuring Mrs. Holcomb to take care of Julia while she enrolled in school.

But nothing he promised happened according to Julia’s statement. The rocker “did not meaningfully follow through on these promises and instead continued to travel with, assault and provide alcohol and drugs to” her.

A year later, after Holcolm turned 17, she allegedly became pregnant with Tyler’s child but the singer insisted she terminate the child. When pregnant Julia did not like his idea, and the singer threatened her to stop supporting her if she didn’t do what he asked.

But Julia had had enough of the singer’s abuse and after having the abortion, she left Tyler and flew back to Portland where she decided to spend there’s of her life as a devout Catholic.

But in 2011, Tyler’s memoir claimed that he “almost took a teen bride” after the girl’s “parents fell in love with me [and] signed a paper over for me to have custody, so I wouldn’t get arrested if I took her out of state. I took her on tour with me.”

But Julia objected saying that he had painted a false picture of a “romantic, loving relationship.”

Julia was also not happy with the fact that Tyler mentioned her name in the memoir’s acknowledgments, which happened without her consent- under the name Julia Halcomb.

Over the years, Julia has talked about the sexual assault several times while Tyler’s reps refused to comment on it.
