Sydney Sweeney is thankful that she didn’t go under the knife as a teenager.

The actress, 26, revealed that she was so insecure about her big breasts throughout high school that she wanted to get a breast reduction.

In an interview published on Tuesday on Glamor UK, the Euphoria star said,

“When I was in high school, I used to feel uncomfortable about how big my boobs were and I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a boob job to make them smaller,”

She added,

“And my mom told me: ‘Don’t do it. You’ll regret it in college.’ And I’m so glad I didn’t. I like them. They’re my best friends,”

The rural Idaho native also encouraged her fans to show off their assets proudly.

She said,

“Flaunt what you got. Own it. Love them,”

The White Lotus star wasn’t always this confident in the past.

She told the outlet,

“I went through that process of covering my body up at such a young age, but once I became more confident with myself, [it changed],”
“I want to show girls that it’s amazing and beautiful and empowering to have the bodies that we have,”

Sweeney added,

“Everybody’s body is beautiful. When you are confident and you’re happy within is when it really shows to other people.”

Sydney discusses Glen Powell affair rumors

The actress is busy promoting her upcoming rom-com Anyone But You and was linked to her co-star Glen Powell while still being engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino, 38, nearly two years ago.

Sydney who is very private about her love life played coy when asked about her future wedding plans earlier this month.

She told ET,

“I am so busy working! I’m a workaholic and I love it, I love it,”

Many believe Sweeney’s flirty exchanges with Powell were a PR stunt since her 13-year senior fiance has been working closely with her as a co-producer on the film.

Sweeney said of her husband-to-be,

“I think it’s incredible being able to work with people who you wanna be in business with,”
“It’s amazing having someone who cheers you on and someone who fully just supports what you do.”

Sydney also told the outlet that the affair news affected both her and Glenn. She said,

“It was really hard on Glen, which made me sad… because [otherwise] it was such a beautiful experience for the both of us,”
