Ralph Dale Earnhardt Sr., the husband of Teresa was born on 29th April 1951 in Kannapolis, North Carolina, the U.S.

The tragic incident happened during the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, 2001.

Teresa Earnhardt was killed in a three-car crash on the final lap of the race.

His death was officially pronounced at the Halifax Medical Center at 5:16 PM Eastern Standard Time.

From his autopsy report, it was concluded that he sustained a fatal basilar skull fracture.

So Teresa Earnhardt expired on 18th February 2001 at the age of 49 approximately.

His funeral services were held on 22nd February at the Calvary Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
