Travis Barker is setting the record straight that his former crush on Kim Kardashian is not the reason for her and Kourtney Kardashian‘s strained relationship.

The Blink-182 rocker felt compelled to address the speculation that started making headlines when excerpts from his 2016 memoir Can I Say resurfaced earlier this year.

He told the Los Angeles Times on Sunday,

“You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’ It’s just so ridiculous,”

The drummer added,

“It’s like, ‘Kourtney’s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer.’ Stop it,”

In his bombshell tell-all, Barker called Kim ”f–king hot” and admitted he secretly checked her out when he had a short fling with Paris Hilton in 2006.

The 47-year-old explained,

“I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it,”
“It was therapeutic for me.”

Barker who is expecting his first child with Kourtney, said that there was no drama within the Kardashian family over his crush on the Skims founder.

He insisted,

“That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on,”
