Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas’ son Tron Austin is expecting his first child with his wife Jeong Ah Wang.
The baby arrive next year in March.
This is the first time, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas is going to be a grandma.

Tron Austin and Jeong Ah Wang are expanding their family. The 26-year-old artist took to Instagram on Wednesday, September 20, to share the happy news that he and Jeong are expecting their first child together.

They have a baby girl on the way arriving next year in March.

Tron shared a photo of baby Luna’s onesie alongside the ultrasound image that also featured a plethora of needles and vials that were seemingly used to conceive their baby.

“WE ARE PREGNANT!! FINALLY WE CAN OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCE OUR DAUGHTER LUNA WANG AUSTIN will be here in March 2024!”

He reflected on their fertility journey while praising his wife who struggled to get pregnant. He wrote,

“To my wife I am so proud of you witnessing you going through so much just to get our beautiful baby here I am in awe of your efforts and I am blessed and honored by Jesus himself to begin this journey with you I love you so much you are going to be the best mother EVER ! We came a long way 5 years later we are married and expecting our first child. loyalty goes a long way.”

Austin also mentioned the process that Wang went through during this conception journey. The soon-to-be mom has had two HSG procedures, one hysteroscopy, one egg retrieval, and one miscarriage.

Similarly, she has removed both tubes and scar tissue from hernia & appendicitis surgeries. The drummer added that they were grateful for the success of the IVF process, explaining,

“#IVF has tested us and blessed us through a year and a half journey. We will be the best parents for our little one and we just cannot wait for her to be here P.S HAPPY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY BABY I hope you enjoy the diaper bag hehe.”

Besides, he shared a video of an ultrasound of their unborn daughter and a photo of the Christian Dior bag that he gifted his pregnant wife.

Jeong, for her part, posted an Instagram story of herself posing in front of a mirror and wrote next to the photo,

“14 weeks baby bump.”

Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas is soon going to be a grandmother for the first time

Rozonda gave birth to Tron in June 1997 with producer Sammy Austin. However, the two didn’t long last and split in the year 2001.

As of now, she has been dating child actor Matthew Lawrence since late 2022.

As soon as her son announced the baby news on Instagram, she was one of the first to comment. She expressed her happiness simply by writing,

“A blessing indeed,”

Similarly, others were quick to react to the news of Rozonda going to be granny. One user wrote,

Chilli has never been married so far. However, she has been open to having kids with Lawrence in the future. In a March interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said,

“I hope [we start a family], That’s what we’re trying to do,”

The “Mrs. Doubtfire” star later that same month clarified that she would get married first before welcoming her second child.
