Apple Watts is a famous reality TV star of the USA. Unfortunately, Apple had a severe car accident at Baker in California on the morning of 23 March 2022. She was driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in her car when the accident occurred.

Apple who is 37 years old was driving her Black Mercedes. It collided with a Ford F250 pickup truck. California Highway Patrol Officer Ramon Duran told People magazine that her car flipped several times and later she was thrown out of her vehicle with the impact. Her car also caught fire.

Ramon also revealed that a passenger from a diesel pickup truck pulled her to safety. Later, paramedics who arrived on the scene flew her to a University Medical Center in Nevada, Las Vegas. But she suffered major injuries in this collision, Ramon added.

Apple’s sister, Dominique Flournoy, revealed that Apple was unconscious. She had a fractured skull and broken spinal bones and arm bones.

One of her family friend also feared that even if Apple recovered from this injury, she would find it difficult to perform her daily chores such as walking and self-feeding.

On 15 April 2022, Apple’s sister, Dominique gave an update about her health condition to her fans. She wrote:

“My baby still unresponsive but stable she will undergo surgery on the 15th for her right eye that doesn’t close all the way they will be putting a weight in the lid that will still allow her to open and close her eye still her nerves are bad on that side and if this isn’t done she could have complications or even go blind because her eye isn’t closing all the way.”

Dominique also made an online gofundme page for raising some money to meet her high medical bills. She pleaded:

“I do need everyone to share tag do whatever is needed for her go fund me I need to move her stuff out of her apartment doctors also mention a payment for transportation waiting for a call back on that but please share the link and keep the prayers coming,”

Another update posted in June 2022 showed that Apple’s condition was improving. She was responding to commands and was under the care of a speech therapist. Apple was also trying to regain her balance and attempting to take a few steps. She was keeping a positive outlook and soon her feeding tubes were to come out.

Now, Apple has started posting on her Instagram. She is with her family at home. But she uses a wheel chair though she can walk a bit with support. Her right hand is still bandaged and she is unable to use it. Her right eye also shows some difference compared to her left eye. She is making a slow and steady recovery.
