YouTube personality who is known for hilariously painful tutorials. Know about this Iranian Canadian electrical engineer, Mehdi Sadaghdar!

Mehdi Sadaghdar’s Unrevealed childhood 

Mehdi Sadaghdar better known for his YouTube personality is an Iranian Canadian electrical engineer. This man was born in Iran in 1977.

There is no further information about his parents nor do we have any details about his family background and childhood. Furthermore, we don’t know about his siblings.

Mehdi Sadaghdar’s amazing educational background

Mehdi Sadaghdar, 41 years old had moved to Vancouver to achieve a Master’s degree. As we already mentioned that he is an electrical engineer. We might have already guessed the type of educational background he has. Let’s know about this more.

Mehdi received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tehran in 1999. He did Bachelor in B.A.Sc. (Bachelor of Applied Science).

Furthermore, in the year 2006, he earned his Master’s degree from Simon Fraser University. From this university, Mehdi did M.A.Sc. (Master of Applied Science).

He said,

“I received my bachelor degree back in Iran and was working for two years, One of my friends who lived in Vancouver came over and talked about the good things there. That night I decided to pack things up an go!”

Birth of ElectroBOOM

To share his electrical knowledge, Sadaghdar started out by setting up a website. But found that “got boring quite quickly”. Also wasn’t attracting viewers. Seeing several of his friends making videos and posting them on YouTube. He also soon decide to post videos on YouTube and named it ElectroBOOM.

Mehdi shared,

“Making videos was in the back of my mind for a while until I came up with an idea for my first video, Don’t Worry, It’s Just ESD

His videos are “hilariously painful tutorials”. Videos consist of electric experiments during which he often receives electric shocks. By now he has made many videos that share electrical knowledge.

While demonstrating Mehdi shows a silly sense of humor, but that’s all how we learn from. About this matter,  Sadaghdar shares,

“But I guess over the Web you don’t see people face to face and so I can pour my heart out!”

Willing to explore his hobby

Sharing his electrical knowledge has always been his best part. Along with ElectroBOOM, Mehdi also has an interest in hosting a science show on TV. We hope his hobby turns into more of a business.

“My problem is that my English is pretty broken. It is hard for me to speak my mind fluently. For my videos, every 10-second clip takes 30 shots so I can get the language straight. But there might be a way to make this work for TV.”

Sadaghdar’s young daughter has also started to help him out with his YouTube videos. His daughter has her own YouTube channel.
