Zach Braff and Florence Pugh might continue to work together after working on a set of A Good Person.

The actor revealed that he would like to continue working with his ex-girlfriend on further Hollywood projects after their split.

The Scrubs alum said,

“Florence is definitely someone that I still admire — and will love to continue to work with — for possible future projects,”
“She is not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well.”

In the Braff-directed movie, Pugh plays Allison, a woman who survives a great tragedy, emerging from recovery from opioid addiction and unsolved grief.

The Garden State actor who also directed and wrote Pugh’s new movie A Good Person said,

“It was a great pleasure to work with her. You see all the work she is doing on the big screen.”

Braff, 47, and Pugh, 27, dated for over three years but privately called it quits last year. Both of them have not publicly addressed their split but have remained friendly since then.

Braff said,

“She is only going to get even greater with her success, and I am proud to… have her in my life. She is something special,”

The actor-director also revealed that the Midsommar actress served as a muse for his new film.

He said,

”I’m just in awe of her talent and I said, ‘I wanna write this for Florence. What I’m writing is really gonna be challenging and she’s incredible,’”

Pugh is not getting many approaches after Braff split

Most recently, Braff was in New York having dinner with the British actress’s family. He admitted to having a great time with Pugh behind the camera for his latest movie.

Zach said,

“I think directing, acting and writing is enough on my plate. I performed in movies and I’ve directed a bunch of times, but felt this time it was a relief to just be a director and stand back and let the actors shine.”

Meanwhile, Pugh also said that it was not a problem for her to take direction from her ex-boyfriend.

The Little Women actress said,

”That’s never going to be a problem,”
“We were actually together at the time when we made the movie and aside from that we had mad respect for each other.”

Moreover, Pugh mentioned that she hasn’t had many men trying to approach her romantically after her split.

The Black Widow actress confessed,

“Men don’t really approach me,”
“I think most of my fan base are really wonderful, really intelligent woman. Like genuinely all the people ever stopping me, they are always awesome clever young women that just want to chat to me about things. I have not had the creepy dudes.”
