Z made yet another history that night

Apart from being the youngest to win the award twice, she also created history by being the first black woman in history to receive the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series twice.

The former Disney star also thanked her loved ones (that included Tom Holland) for their love and support.

Like always, Z made a style statement as she wore a billowing black Valentino gown and Bulgari jewelry.

She looked every inch a princess with a voluminous half-up, half-down hairstyle that looked perfect with a black satin headband.

In 2020, Z won her first Emmy as the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Euphoria’s first season.

Her character of Rue, a high school teenager, and her friends navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma, and social media.

Rue’s character gets addicted to alcohol as a way of coping with her father’s heartbreaking loss due to cancer.

Her character was well-perceived by the audience and the show was a big hit.

The second season of the show kicked off in January and ended by end of February 2022.
