During his collegiate career at Ohio State, A.J. quickly established himself as one of the top linebackers in the nation. He played for the Buckeyes from 2002 to 2005, starting all 51 games and recording a school-record 394 tackles.

Moreover, he was a two-time first-team All-American and a finalist for the Butkus Award, which is given annually to the top linebacker in college football.

In 2006, he was selected fifth overall by the Green Bay Packers, where he played for nine seasons. He helped the Packers win Super Bowl XLV in 2011 and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2010.

In 2015, A.J. signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and played one season with the team before retiring from the NFL.

Following his retirement from the NFL, he joined the NFL Network as a game analyst in 2017 and he has also started his podcast, called “The HawkCast,” where he shares his insights and experiences from his football career.
