Jason Segel and his photobombing

There was this young cute couple from Hampton Roads, Norfolk, Virginia who were getting engaged.

They were getting themselves photographed in Philadelphia when suddenly they found that a celebrity had joined them in the pictures.

The couple Megan Monaco and Joe Fetrow were getting their pictures clicked in front of Philadelphia’s well-known art museum when suddenly a familiar-looking face jumped in between the couple.

It was none other than the famous actor Jason Segel who was in town filming for a movie. Jason photobombed the couple’s Saturday special engagement shoot.

The Norfolk couple and their pleasant surprise

Did the couple mind the celebrity Jason’s interference in their matter? Of course not. They were more than happy to accommodate Jason on their great day and their faces beamed with joy on knowing that he had joined them for their engagement.

Megan expressed:

“You don’t expect something like that to happen … and then it does, and it was so fun,”

She was speaking to a CNN reporter about how Jason shared their happiness with them.

How it all happened?

Jason who was filming for a movie in Philadelphia was walking around the area when he noticed the couple who were getting engaged. Megan narrated how it all happened.

She said:

“We waved hi to him … and then he started walking over to us,”

She added:

“Then he said, ‘Just keep doing what you’re doing I’ll get in a photo with you!’”

Though Megan and Joe recognized and knew who Jason was, the photographer Eric Talerico did not have any knowledge about Jason and his fame. Eric was from the Twisted Oaks Studio.

The owner of the studio is Jay Cassario and he told CNN:

“He is the only one of my photographers who wouldn’t recognize him,”

He continued:

“I’m just kind of jealous it didn’t happen to me.”

Jay admitted that as a photographer it is difficult to get the exact focus on the first shot. But Eric managed to do it in the laudable first attempt.

After Jason entered the picture frame of the couple suddenly, and it was a perfect picture, he shook hands with the couple and then went away without wasting much time of the couple. But the picture would be a good memory for the couple. Megan said that Jason made the great day special.

She said:

“We had such a great day. …That was just something extra to make it special,”
