From 2006 to 2016 he played for L.D.U. Quito and won two titles including, the 2009 Sudamericana, the 2009 Recopa Sudamericana, and the 2010 Recopa Sudamericana.

The professional goalkeeper is counted as one of the top 300 goalkeepers in the world, without conceding a goal.

He joined Monterrey on 22 June 2016.

Later, on 20 August 2021, he served as a free agent for the Uruguayan club, Cerro Largo.

On 13 September 2021, he made his first league debut.

International Career

He played as a youth international, at the 2007 South American U-20 Championship.

In May 2010, he went for the senior Ecuador national football team qualification during a friendly match against Mexico and South Korea.
