Paul Michael is better recognized as the fiance of former actress Amanda Bynes. The former actress shocked the world when she announced her sudden engagement to her boyfriend Paul Michael.

She shared a photo of her engagement ring on 2020 Valentine’s Day however, the photo has since been deleted. Bynes posts photo captioning,

Paul Michael came into the spotlight of media just as finance of former actress Amanda Bynes. He hails from the Los Angeles area and resides in the San Fernando Valley. As per sources, his dad is a doctor by profession.

Similarly, his brother reportedly appeared in a reality series earlier. Bynes introduced her fiance to the world only after their engagement in 2020. At the time, she wrote,

Amanda and Paul have gone through several ups and downs in their relationship since they went public in February 2020. Michael revealed that the couple had split, just three weeks after sharing their engagement news.

The couple later reconciled just a day after their breakup. The following month, rumors of the couple expecting their baby started swirling around the internet. Bynes shared a now-deleted ultrasound photo on her Instagram account announcing they were expecting a child together.

However, the couple’s attorney later denied the claim.

What is the couple’s latest controversy?

Bynes alleged her fiance in recent days accused him of using drugs, watching disturbing pornography, and vandalizing his mom’s home. Following a heated argument, Paul called the police to their home at 2:30 am.

Also, he accused her of taking his Adderall and calling her “out of control.” Right before calling the police, Bynes even posted an Instagram story claiming he had stopped taking his medications and she declared she had ‘kicked him out’ of her house over his ‘alarming behavior’.

The couple’s attorney confirmed,

“Amanda and Paul had an argument Wednesday evening. Amanda left her home, where Paul has been residing, for her safety before the situation escalated. She was not there when police arrived,”

The lawyer then added,

“Amanda is now back home and denies Paul’s claims of taking his medication. She remains focused on her well-being.”

Nevertheless, the couple has already reconciled, seen sharing a kiss during an outing on Thursday mid-morning in LA just hours after a dispute.

Conservatorship

Bynes has struggled with her erratic behavior and substance abuse for years. While speaking to Paper magazine back in 2018, she disclosed,

“Everybody is different, obviously, but for me, the mixture of marijuana and whatever other drugs and sometimes drinking really messed up my brain,”

Adding, she continued,

“It really made me a completely different person. I actually am a nice person. I would never feel, say or do any of the things that I did and said to the people I hurt on Twitter.”

The former actress’s mother was granted a temporary conservatorship back in August 2013 after she allegedly set a driveway on fire. She has kept a low profile since her conservatorship was put into place.

However, her lawyer, David A. Esquibias, said, she was “doing great” in recent past years. On February 25, 2022, she also filed a petition to end her conservatorship. The lawyer exclusively told PEOPLE,

“Amanda wishes to terminate her conservatorship. She believes her condition is improved and protection of the court is no longer necessary,”

As of now, she is terminated during a hearing in Oxnard, California on March 22, 2022.
