Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are taking their romance to another level.

The controversial couple whose months-long affair made global headlines in November 2022 shared the same black-and-white photo of their matching running shoes on their respective IG accounts on Monday morning with the captions, “#nycmarathon2023 ”.

Both, Holmes, 46, and Robach, 50, turned off their comments.

Surprisingly, this is the first time the journalists have posted on their Instagram since reactivating their accounts amid backlash over their controversial affair.

It all started in March 2022 after the former Good Morning America 3 co-hosts started spending a lot of time together while training together for the New York City Half Marathon.

Robach even boasted about getting Holmes into running. She said at the time,

“I’m not sure we technically decided to run together,”
”I pretty much announced to everyone that T.J. was going to run the half-marathon with me, and then publicly pressured him to join … and it worked!”

Around the same time, the GMA 3 co-anchors Robach and Holmes talked about their strict training routine in an inappropriate TikTok that quickly spread after news of their affair.

Robach said,

“But we’re going to both be finishers,”
“That’s what counts.”

Since that time, they both have run many half-marathons and now are heating up to run their second full marathon.

After pictures of them holding hands made it to the internet, which exposed their affair, the former TV hosts lost their high-profile jobs at ABC.

At the time their affair was exposed, Holmes and Robach were married to different people. Since the affair, they have called it quits with their respective spouses and are in a relationship with one another.

Robach quietly settled her divorce with her first husband Tim McIntosh, with whom she shares two daughters.

Holmes, for his part, filed for divorce from his wife Marilee Fiebig in December 2022 with whom he shares a 10-year-old daughter. They are yet to finalize their divorce. He also shares two kids with his ex-wife Amy Ferson.

An insider told US Weekly earlier this month,

“They’re in a good place,”
