Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, the daughter of Mama June Shanno, is no longer alive among us! The reality TV personality has died at the age of 29 following a long battle with cancer.

The grieving mother, 44, took to Instagram on Sunday, December 10, to share the tragic news with a heartbreaking statement. She shared a family photo and wrote,

“With the breaking heart, we are announcing that (Anna) is no longer with us. She passed away in my home last night peacefully at 11:12 PM. She gave one hell of a fight for 10 months. She passed away with her family around her…and we will be updating y’all with more information as we get it today. We love y’all and continued prayers and thoughts for our family (during) this difficult time.”

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star had been diagnosed with the disease since early this year. In January, Cardwell found out that she had a rare disease called Adrenal Cancer after complaining of stomach pain.

She was in the fourth stage of her diagnosis when she gave an update on her health condition in April as she had been undergoing chemotherapy.

Anna is survived by her husband Eldridge, and her two children Kaitlyn, 10, and Kylee, 7.

Shannon’s representative Erin Santucci issued a heartbreaking statement confirming the death of Anna with WE TV and Thinkfactory Media.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Anna Cardwell, loving mother, daughter, sister and friend, Our sincerest condolences to June, Pumpkin, Alana, Jessica and their family during this difficult time. Anna will be truly missed, but never forgotten, as her light and spirit live on.”

Elder sister Alana Thompson also mourns the death of her beloved sister with a sincere statement that reads,

“I really don’t know what to say as my heart is completely broken. Watching my 29-year-old sister this last year battle this horrible disease hasn’t been easy. Anna was a fighter (and) still is. I’m so glad that you waited til i was home to take your last breath! I would’ve loved for you to get to see me graduate college but i know you will forever cheer me on in heaven! We will all make sure your legacy lives on forever. And i promise to always make sure to celebrate your birthday like you never left! The sky looks a little bit different today. We will always love you Anna.”
