Actor Ari Shaffir and stand-up comedian describes his comedy as a puppet show. An orthodox Jewish raised him and he spent 2 years in a yeshiva in Israel and came back to America to lose his religion and become a comic.

Now he is with two-hour standup specials and his late-night TV series. Ari performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2015.

Ari’s second-hour standup special Paid Regular premiered on Comedy Central in 2015. He started to produce a stand-up comedy web series called This Is Not Happening.

Series ‘This Is Not Happening’ was originally debuted as a web series on CC.com and premiered on Comedy Central in 2015. His stand-up album Revenge for the Holocaust was released in 2012. On the week of its premiere, It went to number 1 on iTunes and amazon.com.

In addition to his TV and standup projects, Ari also hosts the wildly popular podcast The Skeptic Tank. He chats with everyone from parents to comedians as well as sex workers.

Ari was born on February 12, 1974. He is the son of Nat Shaffir. Ari belongs to the Ashkenazi Jewish ethnicity. He grew up in North Carolina and Maryland.

The 44-year-old American comedian, Ari is an unmarried man. Moving towards his education, he joined high school in Rockville, Maryland. Later, he completed his graduation from the University of Maryland.
