Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers settle their divorce
Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers have finally settled their divorce three years after calling it quits.
Hammer submitted his final declaration of disclosure on June 14. It means that the exes were preparing to settle but the two had already ended their marriage.
The Bird Bakery founder filed for dissolution on July 10, 2020, after a decade of marriage. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
However, it was soon announced that the cause of the difference would be the sexual abuse and cannibalism allegations that many women accused Hammer of.
The first woman to come public was one named Effie who claimed that the Call Me By Your Name actor had violently raped her during their affair. It prompted the Los Angeles Police Department to conduct an investigation.
However, the District Attorney refused to prosecute Armie since no insufficient evidence was found to charge him with a crime.
The Rebbeca actor denied all allegations against him, first in his statement and then in a tell-all interview with Air Mail earlier this year.
The actor claimed that their relationship allegedly started after Effie first sent him a message via Facebook in October 2016. He added,
“This alleged rape was a scene that was her idea,”
“She planned all of the details out, all the way down to what Starbucks I would see her at, how I would follow her home, how her front door would be open and unlocked, and I would come in, and we would engage in what is called a ‘consensual non-consent scene,’ CNC.”

How did Hammer spend his time post-accusations?
Hammer’s attorney previously told Page Six that his client, “maintained that all of his interactions with [Effie] — and every other sexual partner of his for that matter — have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory.”
Before their divorce filing, the disgraced actor took Chambers, 40, and his two kids, Harper, 8, and Ford, 6, to the Cayman Islands. During their trip, the COVID-19 pandemic hit and Chambers has lived there ever since.
The actor then traveled to his home island where he started selling timeshares for survival. Now it seems that he has traveled back to Los Angeles. He went through a long-term treatment plan.
The actor revealed that he was working hard to help those who were struggling with addiction.
He said,
“I’m going to move in with him and live with him, get him on a healthy routine, get him into a good schedule of [recovery] meetings, take him to the gym, cook healthy food for him,”
“It feels like my recovery has taken a turn from me being the one who needs help staying sober to me being able to help others. Twelve steps in action.”
