JLS singer, 34, and the 36-years old dancer ultimately walked down the aisle after a long await. The beautiful couple tied the knot in a stunning ceremony held at the Palm House in Liverpool’s Sefton Park.

Aston and his long-time love Sarah, who got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2017, have been together for almost a decade. The couple took to Instagram to announce the happy news in September by simply sharing a picture of each hand wearing the wedding ring and writing,

“Husband and Wife #MrandMrsMerrygold,”

JLS members’ special role in Wedding

Aston and Sarah had obviously a grand wedding ceremony, a day to remember. The beautiful bride looked stunning in designer Dana Harel’s gown, which featured a veil with a train embroidered with the words, “You will always be my forever”.

She basically wore two dresses on her big day and later changed into a silk gown from Halfpenny London, which was her second wedding dress. Aston admitted he was overcome with emotion when Sarah arrived, revealing, he was “gobsmacked” by how beautiful she looked.

JB Gill officiated the wedding whereas Martin Humes was a groomsman. Similarly, Oritse Williams completed the reunion as he arrive at the wedding with his then-fiancee Kazz Kumar.

Further, other guests include Marvin’s wife Rochelle, Alesha Dixon, Louis Smith, and Kimberly Wyatt.

Reception Party

After the lavish ceremony, the newly married couple hosted a reception party at Liverpool’s stunning Palm House in the city’s Sefton Park. Aston paid a speech to his newlywed bride,

“I was all set to be the fun uncle for Marv and Roch and JB and Chlo and I didn’t think marriage and kids were for me, but then I met you,”

Marvin, on the other hand, paid tribute to his friend Aston,

“All the boys are special to me – Sarah and I met because of JLS. Our paths may never have crossed otherwise. I’m so grateful they were there to witness the day.”

Similarly, the party was paused at 8 pm for a minutes’ silence in memory of the Queen the night before her funeral, with guest bowing their heads to pay their respects.

Initial Wedding Plans

Well, Aston and Sarah had previously planned to tie the knot back in 2020. However, the couple had to postpone their big day, like so many other couples, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Previously, while speaking to The Sun Aston revealed wedding plans,

“I’m enjoying the process of planning – my missus is a trooper, she’s brilliant, so I just have to be like ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and then turn up on the day. She’s a hero,”
“If I’d had it my way I’d be ‘let’s do it, registry office, go somewhere, get it done’. She was like ‘no, we’re holding out. We’re doing this properly'”

Further, the beautiful pair is already parents to two; Grayson Jax, 4, and Macaulay Shay, 2. Aston and Sarah met during a JLS tour when Sarah Lou worked as a backup dancer while Aston sang to crowds across the nation.
