The Australian actor Thaao Penghlis gained fame for appearing on the soap opera Days of Our Lives.
Similarly, he earned his second Daytime Emmy nomination in 2019 for Best Guest Performer in Days of Our Lives.
Even though he was nominated for the award but he did not win it.

After he walked the red carpet with his former co-star Leann Hunley, he said that they two will be back on the soap opera Days of Our Lives canvas this summer.

Similarly, in 2018, his character Andre died when Abigail killed him in self-defense. For both roles, he earned an Emmy nomination for Best Actor in the year 2008.
