Barcelona legend, Lionel Messi and his wife Antonella Roccuzzo are expecting their third child as a son and also announced the name of their baby, Ciro
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is now going to be a father again and yet again expecting a baby boy. Lionel Messi is already a father of two baby boys Thiago and Mateo. As of now, Thiago is five-year-old and younger Mateo is two-year-old. Furthermore, Lionel Messi and Antonella Roccuzzo will be the family of five along with their sons.
Update: The couple’s third child is a son, Ciro Messi Roccuzzo born in 2018.
Antonella confirmed she was pregnant last month with an Instagram post in which her husband and their two sons touching her stomach. On her post, she has captioned “Family of 5. Blessed.”
Moreover, the Argentinian international and his wife are expecting their third boy in late February or early March. Messi posted a video of his wife’s baby bump, with a heart and the caption “Baby Ciro”. Ciro is a name of Latin origin as well as also popular in Greece, Spain, and Italy.
Talking about his two sons, Lionel Messi said,
“They are very different. Thiago likes cars and motorcycles more. He likes football, but even there he plays for a little bit and gets tired. Mateo is a terror, a character. It’s nice to see how different they are from each other.”

The Barcelona ace and his childhood sweetheart tied their knot last year at a luxury hotel in the city of Rosario. More than 200 guests were present at their wedding while hundreds of police were there for security. The beautiful couple met as a child when he was just five years old. Since then, they have known each other and later began their relationship.
Messi and Antonella exchanged their vows on Friday, June 30, which is said to be ‘wedding of the century’. Prior to their marriage, the couple was already parents of two sons Thiago and Mateo.
Many of his teammates, Neymar, Luis Suárez and Gerard Piqué, along with former Barcelona played Cesc Fabregas were invited.
