It looks like Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are happily putting their past behind them.

The ex-couple shared a fun conversation together while in Affleck’s car in Los Angeles on Friday.

Photos obtained by Page Six show that the two exes shared a warm hug as the actress leaned forward from the back of the seat of her ex’s vehicle.

The former couple’s youngest daughter, Seraphina sat in the passenger side next to her father.

At one point, the Gone Girl star, 51, even leaned toward his former wife’s shoulder before she got out of the car.

The friendly exes were all smiles as Ben drove the 13 Going On 30 star back to her car after picking up one of their daughters.

Garner looked adorable in a casual white T-shirt and blue jeans with a multi-colored cardigan in hand. She then gave the Justice League star a smile as she exited the car.

Jennifer and Ben have remained friends and amicably co-parent their three kids despite rumors of infidelity and gambling woes leading to the end of their years-long marriage.

Fans on the internet were happy to see Garner and Affleck’s friendship. One commented,

“What I hope to cultivate with our family is that his kids have a new ally in me and my kids have a new ally in him, someone who really loves and cares about them but can have a different perspective and help me see things that I can’t see with my kids because I’m so emotionally tied up,”
