They chatted before she handed him a plastic baggie full of essential items.

The actress and a paparazzo together helped a wheelchair-bound, homeless man in need.

The photographer was capturing Garner in her car in a Santa Monica Beach, California, parking lot on Sunday afternoon when she saw the poor man. She, then, rolled down her window and started chatting with him.

The generous actress, 51, had a nice conversation with the man who was wearing a green T-shirt before providing him with a plastic bag full of essential items.

When the 13 Going on 30 actress realized that the man was barefoot, she quickly opened her car door got down on her knees, and began putting socks on his feet.

The Alias alum then tried offering her shoes to him but they were too small.

The mom of three then noticed a pap just a few feet away and requested him for help.

She asked him,

“What size feet do you have?”
“Can I buy your shoes for him? He needs a shoe.”

When the photographer asked which size the man needed, the actress replied, “10 and a half.”

The pap then told the Golden Globe winner, ”Oh, I’m 11! Want me to give it to him? I can give it to him,” and that she didn’t need to pay him.

After the actress put the black sneakers on the man’s feet, the man added that he also had a blanket in his care and offered it to the poor man to keep him calm.

Her boyfriend, John Miller, her eldest daughter, Violet, 17, and actor Adam Scott were also there to lend a helping hand at the charitable event.

Garner shares children Violet, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11, with her ex-husband Ben.

Just earlier this week, the exes were seen hugging while spending time with their secondborn.

At one point, the Gone Girl actor was seen leaning toward Garner who sat in the passenger side next to her dad.

After his divorce from Garner, Affleck married his ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez last summer.
