On Thursday, May 11, Below Deck chef, 42, took to Instagram to share the happy news that he is engaged to his girlfriend after almost four years of dating.

Robinson shared a series of photos from their proposal moment including adorable photos of the two on a boat from Limitless Seas. He captioned the post,

“After a wonderful 4-year relationship with my love Kiara, I decided to take the next step and propose… I feel like the luckiest man alive!”

Similarly, he showed gratitude towards those who support him to make the proposal successful. He wrote,

“Thank you to my friends and family for all of your support. I couldn’t have done it without you, and obviously thank you to Kiara for saying yes and making an honest man out of me, I love you.”

Kiara, for her part, shared similar photos from their big day on her respective Instagram handle and captioned them,

“TO US im speechless and overwhelmed with so much happiness and love,”

The announcement comes weeks after Ben Robinson proposed to Kiara Cabral

While speaking to US Weekly, Ben revealed he popped the question to Cabral, 29, early this month with a diamond ring from Robinsons’ Jewelers. He told the outlet,

“I pulled all of my friends and family into this wonderful love affair, and with their help we are now proudly engaged and I look forward to a life of love and laughter with the lovely Kiara. It’s an amazing feeling secure in such a beautiful romance and friendship.”

He also gave candid about their recent getaway to Rome, revealing,

“We are involved with various cruise lines and had a trip to Italy planned with Emerald Cruises Lines. After our cruising obligations, we decided to stay in Rome for four nights. I could tell that Kiara saw this as a special moment and was definitely expecting more than a carbonara. She says not, but I could tell.”

The reality tv star went on to reflect that at one point Cabral had almost found out about the engagement ring, explaining,

“I had it in my camera bag in a secret compartment. There was a moment when Kiara was looking for an LED light, which was forgotten. I was sure she must’ve seen it, but she did not!”

He continued,

“I even forgot it on the way to the airport and blamed our detour on having to turn the air conditioning down. It was a bumpy ride. And well worth it. She had no clue when I dropped my knees in Vatican Square that I would be proposing.”

How long have Ben Robinson and Kiara Cabral been together?

In January 2020, Ben hinted at his romance with Cabral while celebrating Below Deck’s 100th episode special. He told Andy Cohen at the time,

Ben shared with Us about his first meeting with Cabral, revealing,

“Kiara and I met about seven years ago through mutual friends. The stars had not quite aligned for us back then. I was on a Below Deck roller coaster, and she was too young and too skeptical for that racket. But we remained friends.”
“We actually started dating just before the pandemic, and she moved in with me. We started living and working together. We were absolutely inseparable, and it felt right. In fact, over the last four years we have spent less than 20 days apart.”
