Bill Gates is not in a hurry to get married.

The Microsoft co-founder, 67, sparked rumors that he proposed to his girlfriend, Paula Hurd after paparazzi spotted her wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger.

Amid the rumors, a spokesperson for the billionaire confirmed that Mrs. Hurd has been wearing the ring for years and the couple is clearly not engaged.

The Tech boss’ rep told Page Six on Tuesday,

“Our office can confirm that the ring Mrs. Hurd was seen wearing has belonged to her for decades,”

Many also speculated that the lovebirds were headed for the altar when they were snapped getting into a helicopter in NYC on Monday.

Paula, the widow of former Oracle CEO Mark Hurd, looked chic in a black shirt with green detailing around the neck and a piece of jewelry on her left hand.

Gates, who is reportedly worth $120 billion announced his split from his wife of 27 years, Melinda French Gates in May 2021.

Three months later, the estranged couple finalized their divorce and continued amicably co-parenting their three kids, Jennifer, 27, Rory, 24, and Phoebe, 20.

Hurd, for her part, was married to Mark from 1990 until his passing in October 2019. He died at age 62 following a battle with cancer.

The couple shared two children: daughters Kathryn and Kelly.

Paula and Bill Gates sparked dating rumors in March 2022 when they attended the Indian Wells Tennis Garden together.

Next, they were spotted at the Laver Cup at the O2 Arena in London in September of that year.

The duo who shares a mutual love of tennis then enjoyed the Australian Open together and took a romantic stroll around the city of Melbourne.
