British Chef James Martin reveals that he is not interested in walking down the aisle with his girlfriend or to have children with her!

It has been seven years since the British chef and TV presenter, James Martin and his girlfriend Louise Davies have been locked in a romantic relationship. But things seem to have not moved further from there.

Their fans are waiting to hear some news from them but it has not been coming for long. As if in response to their wait, James Martin recently opened up about his love life.

The Saturday Kitchen host ruled out marrying or having children with his girlfriend Louise Davies. He said that he will never walk down the aisle with her. He disclosed that he is not keen on exchanging the vows with his girlfriend.

James Martin, 47 told Sunday People Magazine:

“No, it doesn’t interest me in the slightest, mainly because I’ve catered for so many weddings, really. I admire people who do it, that’s fine, but I’m quite happy.”

He continued:

“I don’t need to spend £60,000 on a day, no, I’m more than happy, thanks.”

James seems to be strongly averse to marriage. It is not only a ‘no marriage’ James does not also want to have children. He said that he wants to concentrate on his work.

He said:

“I go round to my mate’s house, who has four kids, and realise that I don’t want them after about two minutes.
Kids are great, but it’s just no, not for me. You sacrifice so much in this work and the job and everything else. Never, no.”

James Martin loves cars and has a unique collection of them in his garage. He has a Chevrolet Corvette, a Lotus 340R a 1948 Maserati, and two retired Formula One motors. James said:

“My mates come round to my house and they look into my garage and I go, ‘These are my babies, these are my things,’ but you know, it’s each to their own, isn’t it?”

James is very happy in the present stage of his life and wants nothing more except concentrate on his work and career.

Relationship of James Martin and Louise Davies

James Martin met Louise Davies on the set of Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? She is a TV producer and the two liked each other and started dating. Their mutual love for cars brought them together.

They have been in a relationship since 2011. They are living together now. James Martin rarely speaks in public about his relationship. In February 2017, he had spoken on Good Morning Britain and said:

“I’m happy. I’m happy.
For the first time in my life I’m happy and content.”

The self-proclaimed bachelor is satisfied in his personal life now and he wants no further changes in it. A source had said that Louise accompanies him everywhere. The insider said:

“Louise goes absolutely everywhere with him – they just don’t make a big song and dance about it.
