Britney Spears is finally reconnecting with her mother Lynne Spears, it seems.

The pop star’s estranged mother arrived in Los Angeles to be with her daughter after years of fighting on public platforms.

Mrs. Spears was seen arriving at LAX airport just hours before their much-awaited reunion.

The Through The Storm author first visited Britney’s friend and manager Cade Hudson’s home and then took an Uber to her daughter’s residence.

Sources claimed that their meetup lasted only 30 minutes and the pop star’s husband, Sam Asghari was also present during the time.

The insiders also claimed that the Stronger songstress was not shocked by her mom’s visit as the two ladies have been in touch via texts more frequently lately.

In late 2022, the pop princess even extended a reconciliation chance to Lynne, saying,

“After no coffee for 15 years … Mom we can go have coffee together now !!! I’m treated as an equal … let’s have coffee and talk about it !!!”

But things between the duo were not so good just two months prior.

In October 2022, Lynne publicly issued an apology to her daughter for all the pain she has to endure during her 13-year conservatorship.

She wrote at the time,

“I love you so much and miss you!”
“Britney, deep down you know how much I love and miss you! I apologize for anything and everything that’s hurt you!”

Britney claimed that her mother physically assaulted her once

That same month, Britney slammed her mom for allegedly hitting her once.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Britney wrote,

“The first time I ever got slapped was the one night Paris [Hilton] and Lindsay [Lohan] dropped me off at my beach house with my babies,”

Lynne, on the other hand, has always claimed that she tried to do what’s best for her daughter saying, “I have never and will never turn my back on you!”
