Who is Carl Radke From ‘Summer House’?

Carl Radke was a partner in Lover Boy, a drink brand owned by his fellow Summer House co-stars Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke. He managed the brand’s sales and partnerships.

After joining Lover Boy a few years ago, Carl played a significant role in its growth. However, he no longer works with the company.

Despite his involvement with the alcohol brand, Carl has been sober for the past two years and has been vocal about his struggles with addiction, which were influenced by his brother’s death.

Amanda spoke with Page Six regarding Carl quitting the role. She said she loved Carl being a part of the business but always knew there was a chance of him leaving:

“It’s a bummer. We love Carl. He’s been a part of the business with us from the beginning, and when he decided to become sober — which was obviously for the best — we always knew that there was a chance that he would end up parting ways.”

She added:

“I feel like we talk about this as if it’s a breakup, and it’s like you know, he just left his job. The relationship and the friendships are still there.”

Apart from his involvement in Lover Boy and Spotfund, Carl has pursued several other business ventures. He worked as a consultant for a teeth whitening company named GLO and was an active partner in two New York-based lounges, The Lately and Kind Regards.

He is also an advisor and partner in Spotfund, an application that raises money for non-profit organizations. Moreover, he has produced a few short films.

Carl Radke is engaged to Lindsay Hubbard, a fellow Summer House star. The two initially met while filming the first season of the show back in 2016, but they remained friends due to their respective relationships at that time.

Although they briefly dated during the fourth season, they broke up as they thought that it was best to stay as friends. However, during a prom-themed party in 2021, they reignited their feelings for each other and started dating again.

In April 2022, Hubbard shared what happened in season 6’s prom-themed party:

“So like normal proms … when you and your best friend are both single, you just got to prom together … But the universe had different plans that day. @carlradke was so damn handsome … so sweet … so thoughtful. He had me cracking up ALL day. And we truly didn’t leave each other’s side that day. My heart was beating faster, and something just felt different.”

Hubbard and Radke’s close friendship played a significant role in their romantic relationship, providing a strong foundation for what was to come.

During the MTV Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED red carpet on June 5, 2022, Radke expressed his intention to marry Hubbard.

In a surprise proposal captured by Bravo cameras for Summer House’s seventh season on August 27, 2022, Radke popped the question to Hubbard in Southampton in a romantic setting. Linsay accepted and now they are planning a wedding!

Carl has big plans for their wedding

Recently, in February 2023, while chatting with E! News, Carl revealed their plans to film their special wedding for Summer House.

He said:

“We’ve been such big parts of the show. You’ve seen our journeys and now we’re together and you’re going to see the engagement this season, and then for them not to film? Imagine if we were like, ‘Alright, that’s all you get from Carl and Lindsay.’

He also revealed plans for a big wedding this year:

“We are looking at this year in the fall and it being a big, big wedding,” she said. “It’s taken this long for us to come together — he’s 38, I’m 36 — I don’t think there is anybody in our lives that would let us get away with a small wedding, including Bravo.”
